Be part of the pack and join us for a wonderful adventure through the Douro Valley whilst also helping make a difference to wolf conservation
The Wolf Ride is a cycling journey across northern and central inland Portugal, hosted by Portugal A2Z, to raise funds to support the Wolf Conservation Center (WCC) and ATNatureza Portugal (ATN) in their collective mission to re-wild the planet. The mountainous regions of northern and central Portugal are one of the last territories of the Iberian wolf. Starting out in the wolf region, riders will move through the rugged landscape of the North and pass by unique 12th-century historical villages of the Center of Portugal. The journey will finish in the Unesco Duoro Valley with its terraced vineyards and world-class wines. With daily specialized presentations and activities, riders will have the opportunity to learn about local culture, as well as wolf conservation and environmental conservation as a whole.
